Public Relations Coordinator / Treatment Coordinator
I grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia and attended the University of Richmond. My goal is to provide our patients with detailed information regarding their treatment and commitment. I truly enjoy this exciting position because it allows me to get to know each patient and follow them throughout their treatment plan.
I spend my personal time with my husband Greg and three wonderful children, Will, Kati, and Ethan. My weekends usually include watching Ethan play baseball and participating with my husband on a coed indoor soccer league. We are loyal Washington Nationals fans and enjoy attending games as often as possible.
I graduated from Highland Springs High School, and attended Fortis College for dental assisting. It was there that I realized my passion for orthodontics. I did my last six weeks of internship here at East End Orthodontics in November 2009 and became a full-time employee in 2010. I enjoy seeing our patients every day and love the before and after smiles.
Outside of the office, I stay busy with my fiancé Charles, my stepdaughter Mariah, son C.W, and daughter Abigail. If we’re not watching my son play football, we’re spending quality time as a family simply doing the things that make us happy.
I graduated from Lloyd C. Bird High School, and attended Fortis College where I became a Certified Dental Assistant. Growing up I loved going to the dentist and would always ask the assistants questions, and when I was a teenager I fell in love with orthodontics as I was going through my own treatment. I enjoy watching patients go through their own experience and seeing them walk out with a new smile!
When I am not in the office I have my hands full with my daughter, Phoebe. She is the best and craziest little girl a mom could have. We can be found at the playground, doing crafts, participating in pageants, or spending time with our family.
I was born and raised in Tehran, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology. I moved to the United States in 2011 and made Richmond my second home. After studying art at VCUarts, I brought my passion of art and service together by becoming an orthodontic assistant. I always make sure that our patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and have a pleasant experience in our office.
Outside of the office, I am a yoga teacher. I spend my free time practicing yoga, meditating, reading, learning about wholistic health care, and trying to apply what I learn in my personal life and relationships. I love spending quality time with my partner, Andrew. We cook, bake and grow plants together.
I grew up in Mechanicsville before joining the Army and graduating from VCU. What I like most about East End Orthodontics is getting to know each patient better with every visit.
In my free time, I enjoy writing, playing music, reading (which is enough for me to skip lunch), and spending time with my friends and family. Here is a sample of my creative writing: "I was born on Tatooine in 286BC and got my first transfusion of Tiger-BloodTM by age 7. After beating Superman and the Flash in a footrace around the world I twisted an ankle and was told I'd never walk again. Fortunately, they could replace it, they had the technology. My running days were, however, over. I settled nicely into life at East End Orthtodontics... In my free time I enjoy spending time with my robot dog Gyro and driving in the country in our ice cream truck."
